Chip Mattingly was born and raised right here in Louisville. He attended St. Xavier High School where he was a standout on the football field. Upon graduating from St. X, Chip took his football talents to the University of Louisville. After a brief professional career with the Buffalo Bills and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he decided to end his football career and enter the mortgage industry. In 2007, after 5 years of learning the ins and out of the mortgage business, Chip decided to start Key Financial Mortgage where he could deal directly with consumers and focus on the front end of the home buying experience. In 2012, Louisville Business First recognized KFM as the 2nd largest mortgage brokerage firm in the city. The very next year Chip decided to take his business to the next level by moving his lending platform to ENG Lending, a subsidiary of Bank of England Mortgage. Today, as a Producing Sales Manager for Bank of England Mortgage, a 121-year old FDIC insured bank founded in England, Arkansas, he is able to lend in all 50 states and offer better pricing and a full array of loan programs to his customers. Chip takes great pride knowing the he has built his business over the last 17 years by providing exceptional service and communication to his clients.
Chip is highly involved in his community, donating his time and energy to multiple local charities. He is the proud father of his two children, Aiden and Ashtyn.
